Open for all, this is a one-day introduction to the influence of the Gospel
• on the shaping of Europe through 2000 years,
• on European integration since WW2, and
• in current EU politics.

This study day is relevant for all living and working in Europe and wishing to understand better our secularised and multi-religious mission field.

How European civilisation and culture was shaped by the story of Jesus in all corners of Europe from the first century onwards.

How the peace was won after WW2 primarily through a message of forgiveness and reconciliation.

14:00Session 3: the Gospel and EU politics today:
How the EU political system works, and topics of Christian concern which fall within the competence of the EU.
