In 2010, 9 May was the 60th anniversary of the presentation of the Schuman Plan, and fell on a Sunday. It was the occasion of the launch of the Schuman Centre for European Studies, with a commemoration church service in the Chapel of the Resurrection in Brussels, addressed by Canon Rev. Dr Gary Wilton and Evert-Jan Ouweneel, among others.
